From a small child I’ve always had a love for what I called back then stripped horses (Zebra). I can remember like it was only yesterday the first time I had the privilege of seeing a Zebra in the wild.
We we’re traveling from the airstrip in Meru National Park to Elsa’s Kopje (our lodge for the next few days), a stunning place made famous by George and Joy Adamson together with Elsa the lion, star of the award-winning film Born Free.
It was on this journey my eureka moment ensued when suddenly from out of nowhere a large dazzle of Zebras crossed the path directly in front of our truck, something so simple I know yet a goose bump moment for me as a childhood dream came true.
